
Since 2020, PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, has been leading and coordinating nationwide efforts to protect Singapore’s coastline. PUB, Singapore’s national water agency has been conducting various studies around different segments of Singapore’s coastline, and engaging stakeholders and communities on the need for coastal protection and the possible options.
The first coastal protection exhibition was held between 28-31 August 2025 to show how far Singapore has come to protect its coastline. The exhibition showcased interactive displays, AR, and digital games to educate the public about rising sea levels and Singapore’s multi-layered defense strategies, emphasising national priority and citizen involvement in building coastal resilience. The exhibition highlighted solutions like nature-based defenses and engineering innovations.
