Organising cross-sectoral dialogues for policy integration
The water transition requires integrated policy and cooperation between sectors. This requires cross-sectoral dialogues with policymakers and private actors. This article, based on the research of Caro Mooren on Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) nexus governance offers water managers hands on recommendations to facilitate dialogues between different sectors and countries. Based on insights of two transboundary case studies, 11 conditions for successful cross-sector dialogues were formulated.
