The Argentine Chamber of Water (CAA) is expanding its international cooperation efforts through two innovative projects in Africa. In Mozambique, the Quixaxe Water Supply Project aims to provide over 10,000 residents of Nampula Province with safe and reliable access to water. The integrated system combines a deep well, temporary utility connection, and rainwater harvesting, ensuring potable water for households and separate streams for agriculture and local production.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, CAA is collaborating with CSC-Asbl to design a Community Water Enterprise. This initiative explores both bottled and refill distribution models, as well as solar-powered water points in underserved neighborhoods, creating a sustainable approach to WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) challenges while strengthening community resilience.

Both projects share a common vision to deliver safe water while fostering health, economic development, and sustainable community-led management of water resources.

CAA warmly invites interested parties to join forces or contribute with expertise. If interested, contact: info@camaradelagua.org.
