The 2nd IWA Conference on Non-Sewered Sanitation (NSS) Systems brings together global experts, practitioners, policymakers, and researchers to explore innovative solutions for sustainable sanitation. The conference will cover a broad spectrum of topics including research, technology, and innovations in centralised, decentralised, and non-sewered systems, as well as global evidence and best practices for sustainable sanitation. Participants will also examine policy, standards, financing, and governance frameworks, alongside the public health and environmental impacts of sanitation systems. A special focus will be on climate-resilient sanitation management, addressing the challenges of adaptation and sustainability in the face of climate change.
