Titled “Looking Back, Looking Forward: A State of the Sector Update”, the main focus of the 2025 Danube Water Conference (2025 DWC) will be on the World Bank State of the Sector Update. This document is currently under development, builds on the original State of the Sector report, and will give comprehensive, up-to-date insights on the situation of the water sector in the Danube region.
With this fresh report on the table, the 2025 DWC will take stock of challenges met, successes achieved, lessons learned – and everything that needs to be done in the foreseeable future to keep the water clean and flowing.
