More than 100 participants at the first Seminar on Legionella
On the 9th of June 2015 WLN Indonesia, KWR Watercycle Research Institute, WMD and the Ministry of Health organized the first SEMINAR ON LEGIONELLA, in Hotel Sultan, Jakarta. More than 100 participants from universities, hospitals, hotels, engineering companies and industries joined.
Mr. Arief Rakhmadi (head of laboratory WLN) invited Mr. Idsart Dijkstra to visit the laboratory facilities in Manado on the 10th of June. These sophisticated and very well organized laboratories created an outstanding basis for further collaboration. WLN Indonesia jointed the Watershare® community on the 25th of September 2015 and a successful proposal on “Legionella control in tropical regions” has been submitted for financing through a TKI Water Technology grant.
