Improving colour and taste of drinking water

The Dutch water company Vitens has invested heavily in ion exchange processes over the past few years, with the objective of removing NOM and improving drinking water quality.

Besides improving the taste, colour and odour of the drinking water, ion exchange treatment also improves the biological activity of the water.
