Danmok - Artificial groundwater recharge for greenhouse complexes in South Korea

Groundwater in the region has been sporadically explored for operating water curtain systems inside the greenhouses, especially in winter season. To solve the chronic problem of undesirable groundwater level drop-down which hinder the stable groundwater supply, the river bank filtered water generated from Nam-River will be recharged into the up-gradient of the greenhouse complexes to stabilize the groundwater level.
